City of Bristol College prospectus

City of Bristol College
decided that their new prospectus should appeal to their core customers
16-18 year old school leavers and not, as with previous
years, the parents. The brief was to create a magazine style prospectus
with informal, accessible copy.
The new look has been
well received and Kath Tudor, Head of Marketing at the college,
has commented: The copy is great - its well targeted,
concise and clear; the feedback from teachers and pupils alike has
been very positive.

Working over a six-month
period, web content was written for five seperate areas within the
website each with very different target groups. Participating in
regular fortnightly meetings with web designers, marketing managers
and the webmaster PW Copywriting helped develop design, navigation
and content.
